Chelsea striker Samuel Eto'o is in talks with Chinese outfit Guangzhou Evergrande, according to Goal.com.
Eto'o, who is out of contract at Stamford Bridge next month, scored 12 times in 34 games last season - including a hat-trick against Manchester United.
However, his time at Chelsea looks set to end, with Guangzhou Evergrande his likely destination.
If reports are to be believed, though, Eto'o wants as much as £8.1m per year to join the club this summer.
It appears that the Chinese outfit have made the Chelsea ace their priority transfer target, but it remains to be seen as to whether they are willing to pay his high wage demands.
Eto'o has seemingly fallen out with Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho in recent time, with the forward recently calling him a 'puppet' and a 'fool'.
After just one season at the club, Chelsea fans will have some fond memories of the striker, but he looks set to embark on a new challenge.
