At UFC 173 on May 24 Dan Henderson and Daniel Cormier will battle it out in a number one contenders fight for the Light Heavyweight Title.
Leading up to the fight, both fighters will be extremely focused on making the 205lbs weight limit. The weight cut will be a lot more difficult for Cormier, as he is a former Heavyweight and has just fought at Light Heavyweight once.
However that has not stopped 'Hendo' taunting DC. In the video, the former PRIDE Welterweight and Middleweight champion is saw bringing Cormier Popeye's fried chicken on at the open workouts.
This shows the mutual respect the two have for each other. Both are former Olympic wrestlers, and leading up to the fight Cormier has stated he would have preferred a different opponent.
Unbeaten Cormier is 14-0 in MMA and holds impressive wins over Frank Mir, Antonio 'Bigfoot' Silva and Josh Barnett.
As for Henderson, he has had an immense career that will send him down with the greats in the sport. He holds a 30-11 record, being the only man to hold two major MMA belts at once as well as capturing the Strikeforce Welterweight Championship. Now at 43, he still competes against the best and has beaten the likes of Wanderlei Silva, Mauricio 'Shogun' Rua and Heavyweight king Fedor Emelianenko.
UFC 173 is headlined by a Bantamweight Title fight between Renan Barao and TJ Dillashaw in Las Vegas.
