The UFC is set to return to Macau, China on August 23rd and they seem to have a have a main event set in sights. That fight will be between Welterweights Hector Lombard and Dong Hyun Kim.

The reports come from from UFC Tonight who suggested the fight is in the works.

Earlier this week, Lombard has strong words to say to Matt Brown who could have reportidly fought him. The former Bellator Middleweight Champion said tweeted Brown has never fought a top ten opponent or a former champion.

If he wanted a fight that met that criteria, then he should settle with a fight against Kim. The South Korean is on a four fight win streak, recently finishing John Hathaway and Eric Silva. In his career, Kim has fought several top ten Welterweights in Demian Maia and former UFC Interim Welterweight Champion Carlos Condit.

As for Lombard, he is 3-2 inside the Octagon. However since his move to Welterweight, The Cuban has waltez through former Strikeforce Middleweight Champion Jake Shields and Welterweight Champion Nate Marquart.

The fight will prove very influential within the 170lbs division. As champions Johnny Hendricks is without an opponent, an impressive victory for either fight could get them their nose ahead of the pack for a shot at 'Big Rigg.'
