New England Patriots tight end, Rob Gronkowski will appear on comedy improvisation show 'Whose Line is it Anyway?' according to Fansided.

Patrick Schmidt reports that the Patriots receiver, who has struggled with injury in recent seasons, has agreed to appear on the CW show in June.

The show, which also will involve regular participants Wayne Brady and Ryan Stiles airs on June 2nd and producers are hoping that Gronk will be a big hit.

Based on the British show of the same name, contestants act out improvised comedic scenes based on directions given by the host.

Gronkowski does not have much prior acting experience, but he doesn't seem to be one to shy away from the spotlight and I'm sure he'll be a great sport alongside the regular comedians.

The tight end was limited to just seven games last season as he once again missed playing time due to injury. However he was a big impact player in the games that he did play in and a fully healthy Gronk would certainly be a boost to the New England Patriots' Super Bowl chances.
