Triple H is the main man in the WWE these days. Although Vince McMahon still calls the shots, HHH still has a huge amount of say and his weekly sit-down chats are always provide a good idea of what's in store in the near future for the wrestling organization.

The Chief Operating Officer was speaking to Michael Cole in another of his weekly interviews Wednesday, and he spelled the end for The Shield.

"This is where it all comes to an end I think. At least for some of us. We can talk about this going on for a long time, and it being a long-time coming and it being a big build, but now you come down to the final battle.

"It's time for The Shield to do what I've been telling them since this all started. Either adapt or perish."
