I'm still unsure as to how it happened, but LeBron James and Johnny Manziel somehow became best friends, and now they're flaunting the BFF status all over social media.

Last night the Miami Heat star was pictured in a new Nike shirt about Johnny Football which you can see above titled 'Money Manziel'. Naturally, LeBron was one of the first people in the world to get his hands on Johnny's first line of merchandise.

The two have already appeared together in a McDonald’s commercial, and James was spotted in a Manziel jersey shortly after his hometown team the Browns took JFF with the 22nd pick overall.

The two knew each before Manziel was even out of college however. When Manziel was in full 'Johnny Football' mode he was spotted chilling with LeBron while his teammates were probably in class back at Texas A&M.

If anyone knows what it is like to be a young phenom in the state of Ohio then it is LeBron. And Manziel the quarterback has gone cross-sports to team up with LBJ and sign for his marketing company LRMR, which is run by James and his friend Maverick Carter.

“When you look at who the best player in the NBA right now is, you look at LeBron,” Manziel said recently. “And somebody who’s at the top of his game and does so much marketing wise, so many good things, I felt like if I got the offer extended to me it was really a no-brainer.”

Is it just me that thinks of the two as the sports world equivalent of JD and Turk from Scrubs? No? Well let me have it and long may this continue.
