Liverpool have reportedly offered Sevilla £16.2million and Suso for left-back Alberto Moreno, according to Spanish newspaper Marca.
The London Metro reports that The Reds are looking to land the 21-year-old before the World Cup begins, as Moreno is part Vicente del Bosque’s provisional 30 man Spain squad.
Liverpool are hoping that they can tie up the deal before Del Bosque names his final squad for the tournament. However, Sevilla will want to delay negotiations until after the tournament so that they can hold out for a higher price should the player shine in Rio.
It is thought that Moreno has a £24.4million release clause in his contract, so it is unlikely that any offers much higher than the one Liverpool have already made are going to be made.
Chelsea, Real Madrid and Napoli are all said to be keeping an eye on the defender, who won the Europa League with Sevilla this season.
