Published Add your comment

Today's new for Friday 30th May, where the San Antonio Spurs, New York Rangers and Houston Astros prodigy George Springer steal the headlines.

We start off with the NBA Playoffs, where the San Antonio Spurs moved out to a 3-2 lead over the Thunder last night.

Tim Duncan rolled back the years with a double-double as OKC struggled on both sides of the ball.

To the NHL, where the New York Rangers became the first team to make the 2014 Stanley Cup Finals.

Dominic Moore scored the only goal of the game while Rangers net-minder Henrik Lundqvist stopped all 18 shots that he faced to be perfect on the night.

And finally to baseball, where George Springer is keeping up his remarkable record.

The Houston Astros rookie has had a month to remember, cracking 7 home runs in his last 7 games.
