50 Cent might just be the worst baseball player of all time, and t looks like the rapper has taken to mingling with stars from other sports to distance himself from the Vietnam-style flashback memories of that hideous first pitch.

The hip hop star and entrepreneur was with the a couple of stars of the United States mens national team earlier today on Good Morning America and Fiddy - real name Curtis Jackson - seemed stoked to receive his own personalised World Cup jersey from midfielder Michael Bradley and goalkeepers Brad Guzan and Tim Howard.

Jackson also spoke a little about his first pitch disaster, saying that it wasn't 50 who threw the pitch and revealing his childhood nickname was Boo Boo:

“See that was Curtis that did that,” he said, of his alter ego. “I’m trying to get Curtis to be like 50 Cent. 50 Cent is a star, Curtis just does things for no reason — that’s where that nickname came from, Boo Boo.
