Wrestling legend Ric Flair has made a bold prediction as he prepares for a return to the WWE, but it doesn't concern his own future plans.

Instead the Nature Boy has bestowed the highest of praise on his own wrestling daughter.

Charlotte Flair is currently competing in the NXT arena and holds the Women's Champion title at present, and Flair Snr sees this as only the beginning of what could become a truly great wrestling career:

"She will be the greatest Flair of all time," said the veteran star when speaking in a recent report.

"Her credentials speak for themselves. I'd putt her resume up against anybody. She's Rey Mysterio but bigger."

High praise indeed for the 28-year-old and the father's gushing pride didn't stop there:

"She is going to be the greatest female wrestler and the most famous diva in the history of the WWE."

Ric Flair also discussed his own return to the organization with the legendary wrestler boasting that he had dropped to 228 pounds ahead of a return to the ring which will take place for the first time for a Japanese promo this September.

We aren't sure what Rey Mysterio will have to say about the comparison, or whether Charlotte will ever be able to rival her father in the WWE legends stakes.
