Tottenham target Stefan Savic has confirmed no offers have been made for his services, despite rumours surfacing about a possible return to the Premier League

The 23-year-old Fiorentina player has shown the form this season that proved his unsuccessful season with Manchester City back in 2011 is well and truly behind him, and despite the defender receiving attention from the likes of Spurs and AC Milan, he has said it is just rumours.

"AC Milan, Tottenham or Zenit in my future? Many of those rumours are just speculation".Savic told pobjeda.me

"I have a contract with Fiorentina for another two years and so far nobody has told me anything, although the summer is long. We'll see what happens.

"The Premier League? I'm well in Italy, but maybe one day I will play in England again."

The Montenegro international came to England after making a £6million switch from Partizan Belgrade ahead of the 2011/12 season.

The centre-back made 11 league appearances that year, which was enough to claim a Premier League winners medal before leaving the Eithad for the Serie A the following summer.

Spurs had several defensive issues over the course of the current season, and would identify Savic as a young player who could sturdy the White Hart Lane defence for many years to come.

Should the move come about, it would also enable the youngster to once again try his hand in the Premier League and further show the potential that City and Fiorentina have seen in the starlet.
