Chelsea are ready to offer striker Romelu Lukaku to Atletico Madrid as part of the deal to bring Diego Costa to Stamford Bridge.
According to The Express, Blues boss Jose Mourinho is ready to let the Belgian ace join the La Liga outfit on loan for the 2014/15 campaign.
Lukaku has enjoyed previous short term spells away from Stamford Bridge at the likes of West Brom and Everton, however it appears that the Chelsea boss doesn't want him to be part of his squad next season following a fall-out with the player and his advisor.
And it appears that Mourinho doesn't want the £25 million rated striker starring in the Premier League next season, meaning he could be set for a stint at Atletico.
Offering Lukaku to the La Liga champions could help the Blues secure the services of £32 million rated Spanish international Diego Costa.
The Blues have been linked with the forward for some time now, and it appears that they're closing in on a deal to bring him to The Bridge.
It remains to be seen, however, as to whether Lukaku will head in the opposite direction this summer.
