Karim Benzema has revealed that he feels at home at Real Madrid, reports The Daily Mail.
The striker - who is set to star for France at this summer's World Cup - had a fine season at the Bernabeu, and played his part in helping his club secure a 10th Champions League trophy.
However, it now appears unlikely that he will depart Madird for the Gunners in the up coming market, after insisting he's happy in Spain.
He told L’Equipe Magazine: "I feel at home in Madrid. I am really at ease.
"Playing at Real Madrid is a joy and fills me with pride because it is the greatest club in the world and also because I have come through some difficult moments in my five years here."
Arsenal fans will be desperately hoping the club can land a new striker this summer, as the club have a lack of options in the forward department.
With Nicklas Bendtner set to leave north London, Yaya Sanogo is the only back-up for Olivier Giroud in the first team at The Emirates.
The Gunners will be hoping to maintain a strong challenge for the Premier League title next season, and they will be hoping to have a world class striker on their books. That striker seemingly won't be the Real Madrid hit man, however.
