Arsenal players Aaron Ramsey and Theo Walcott have both expressed their
happiness towards the news that manager Arsene Wenger has signed a new 3-year
deal a the Emirates Stadium.
Wenger’s future at Arsenal has been beginning to be doubted, with his contract expiring this summer. However, after another top 4 finish and an FA Cup win, the news has today been announced that he has pledged his future to the club.
Ramsey and Walcott were quick to congratulate the Frenchman on signing until 2017 on Twitter.
"Great news on the boss signing!! Exciting times ahead," said Walcott.
"Congratulations on the boss signing for another 3 years, looking forward to building on last season's success," added Ramsey.
Wenger has won three Premier League and five FA Cups since becoming Arsenal manager
in 1996. However, their 3-2 extra-time FA Cup victory against Hull earlier this month at Wembley was his first trophy in 9 seasons. He led Arsenal to be the only team to ever go a season unbeaten in the Premier League in the 03/04 season and led them to a Champions League final in 2006.
