Fernando Torres rejected Inter Milan transfer

Published 9 Comments

Chelsea striker Fernando Torres has rejected a summer move to Italian outfit Inter Milan, reports ESPN.

Citing the Daily Mail, the report has suggested that the Spanish forward - who has struggled with life at Stamford Bridge - is desperate to prove himself at the club and isn't ready to give up on his Blues dream.

The forward has been named in Spain's 23-man squad for the up-coming World Cup despite having struggled for form throughout last season.

Torres struck 11 times for the Blues in the 2013/14 campaign, however he looks ready to fight for his place next term.

Chelsea look set to tie up a deal for Atletico Madrid forward Diego Costa in the near future, so the Blues ace may well have to battle his Spanish teammate for a place in the starting XI.

Torres appears desperate to prove his credentials at Stamford Bridge and will be targeting success with the club next season.

Chelsea fans: Do you think Torres has what it takes to prove his doubters wrong? Have your say below!
