As reported earlier this month Liverpool are set to confirm the deal for the Spain international, who was not named in the final 23-man Spanish national team squad picked for the World Cup in Brazil.
But this latest report claims that the deal will be confirmed today and follows the earlier announcement of Rickie Lambert's transfer to Anfield.
The former-Southampton and England striker has joined the Reds for a fee believed to be around the £4.5m mark. He has signed a two-year contract.
Marca reports that the Moreno to Liverpool deal could be confirmed later today with both parties, Liverpool and Moreno, waiting for the formalities to be completed.
Earlier speculation had claimed that Suso would be heading to Sevilla on loan as part of the agreement, but that is not thought to be the case. The Liverpool youngster enjoyed a successful campaign with Almeria last term.
If the deal does indeed go through, it would mean that Brendan Rodgers will have secured two of his targets before the World Cup has kicked off. He's also keen on Southampton midfielder Adam Lallana and defender Dejan Lovren.
It promises to be a busy summer at Anfield, with Rodgers keen to add to his squad as they prepare for Champions League football.
