Hello and welcome to the GiveMeSport – Social Report. Where we have a look at the weekend’s social media best bits!

We start with the highly anticipated fight between Carl Froch and George Groves at Wembley Stadium. It ended up with experience overcoming youth as Froch connected with a sweet right hand to knock out Groves in the eighth round. Groves showed he was gracious in defeat with this tweet.

England hosted Peru on Friday night, also at Wembley stadium, with a routine 3-0 win. But the biggest cheer of the night was for a paper aeroplane…watch this.

On to Rugby…Northampton Saints took on Saracens at Twickenham in the Aviva Premiership final. The Saints were victorious 24-20 with a last minute try at the end! An epic final and the players deservedly celebrated in style with these pictures.
