AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli, has been told by the club president that he can leave the club this summer, if the right offer is made according to reports.
The Italian forward has been told by the president that he is surplus to requirements at San Siro and could be one of many faces leaving the club, as they prepare to overhaul their current squad after a dismal season.
The former-European champions finished mid-table in Serie A, almost 50 points behind league-winners Juventus, and Adriano Galliani is desperate to make changes to his club this summer, starting from the top.
Current manager Clarence Seedorf is set to leave the club in order to be replaced by former-striker Filippo Inzaghi, after the Italian held talks with Galliani about the managerial position.
Despite Seedorf taking the role this season, and slowly turning their fortunes around, Galliani is keen to replace the Dutchman and he has already held several talks with Inzaghi and has even spoken about transfer targets and who to sell from the current squad. Unsurprisingly, Balotelli is on that list.
Earlier on in the season, Balotelli revealed his plans were to stay in Italy, but since then, he has grown frustrated at the club and is fed up of the racial abuse he receives every game, and he is finally ready to leave the club and return to England.
With that in mind, Galliani and Inzaghi discussed the 23-year-old's future and they agreed that he could leave for roughly £20million.
With a transfer looming, Balotelli's agent, Mino Raiola is already looking for a new club for his client, and it's believed four Premier League outfits are showing interest.
Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Chelsea are all reportedly interested, with The Gunners the favourite to sign him after they struck a kit-deal with Balotelli's sponsors, Puma.
All four Premier League sides are desperate to add depth to their squads, and they are all thought to be looking for a striker, with three of them looking for first-team options, and Liverpool looking for suitable back-up for their SAS of Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge.
Balotelli is set to go up against England in this Summer's World Cup when they get their tournament underway on the 14th.
