Hull City are preparing to make a £3.5 million bid for Tottenham Hotspur defender Michael Dawson, who is also an alleged transfer target for Crystal Palace.
The Daily Mail reports that Tigers boss Steve Bruce has identified the centre-back for a summer move to the KC Stadium as he looks to strengthen his squad ahead of the 2014/15 campaign.
Dawson is facing an uncertain future at White Hart Lane following the recent appointment of Mauricio Pochettino. The new Spurs boss is famed for playing a high defensive line, which doesn't exactly play to the 30-year-old's strengths.
The former Nottingham Forest man is not the only Tottenham player on Bruce's summer wish list, with Jake Livermore - who spent last season on loan at Hull City - also in talks over a permanent transfer.
Livermore is valued at £8 million by the Spurs hierarchy, meaning if Hull City are serious about acquiring the services of both him and Dawson, then they will have to pay the north London club upwards of £10 million in total.
