John Cena and Bray Wyatt battled it out at WWE Payback last night in front of a packed crowd and a huge watching audience with the former coming out on top as the feud rumbles on.
Despite Cena's victory, legendary former wrestler Mick Foley believes that Wyatt emerged the real winner as his fame and fan support continues:
"Winning is all relative in sports-entertainment, and in this wrestling fan's eyes, Bray did indeed emerge victorious," Foley wrote on his official Facebook page.
"He may not have made it to his feet by the 10 count last night, but in his promos and in his matches, Brey Wyatt has shown me that is more than capable of standing on his own two feet at the very forefront of the new generation of WWE Superstars," continued Foley.
Wyatt and Cena have developed quite the feud over the past few months since their historic WrestleMania fight and the action at WWE Payback only seems to have furthered Wyatt's reputation with the wrestling fraternity:
"Fans remember feuds, and Wyatt's character and promos put him in a great position to create memorable feuds with just about any of the top stars in the company," Foley commented.
The WWE is in need of a truly top-bill feud at present especially considering the struggles World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan has encountered since being crowned, and in Foley's eyes at least they have found an individual who is ready to step up and be at the forefront of the organization.
What do you think? Is Wyatt ready to be placed amongst the WWE's current crop of superstars? Is he already there?
