WWE: Is there a new contender for the Divas championship?

Paige defended her Divas Championship on Sunday at Payback against the unpredictable Alicia Fox and was then interrupted in her post match press conference by Cameron.

One half of the Funkadactlys asked why she hadn't been given a title shot and called Paige a rookie. Paige responded by telling her she definitely wasn't a rookie and offered her the shot whilst Naomi was trying to pull Cameron away the whole time.

Many of you may have already realised that Cameron had her title shot at Elimination Chamber when she stepped up because her tag team partner Naomi was injured and what was shown was one of the worst divas matches in recent memory.

Naomi is the one who deserves the title shot since she is the only who pinned AJ Lee and was hoping for the shot at Wrestlemania, until it was turned into a battle royal and AJ retained, then Paige won the title the following night on Raw and has since successfully defended it against Tamina Snuka (AJ's bodyguard) and Alicia Fox.

Naomi did tell Cameron it wasn't the time or the place for her to rant at Paige and tried to pull her back, hinting that Cameron could be turning heel, since Tons of Funk broke up months ago the girls joined R-Truth and Xavier Woods but since they were decimated at Extreme Rules by Rusev, the Funkadactyls have had nothing to cheer for and it seems this could be the ending of them as a tag team.

The fact that Cameron called Paige a rookie struck up some bad reactions on social media since Paige has been training longer and harder than Cameron and right now Cameron is one of the only divas on the roster who has shown no signs of ring improvement in years.

The thought is only that AJ is still away until after Money in the Bank so Cameron is stepping up and this will hopefully lead to Naomi v Cameron v Paige for the Divas Championship at the pay-per-view at the end of the month.

Other divas like Natalya, Nikki, Aksana and Rosa Mendez must be scratching their heads wondering what they have to do to get back in the title picture, whilst the WWE Universe are hoping Cameron's absence over the last few weeks means she has been training night and day so this title match is a lot better than her last.
