We start with the PGA tour and this week sees the last stop before the U.S. Open at the FedEx St Jude Classic at TPC Southwind.

The pairings are out and some of the biggest names in golf will be teeing it up tomorrow in preparation for next week.

Ian Poulter goes off at 12:50, and will be joined by Zach Johnson and Justin Leonard forming quite the stellar group. Phil Mickelson will go at 7:40 and will be joined by Harris English and Scott Stallings.

Our final pick of the tee times is Webb Simpson, Patrick Reed and Dustin Johnson who head out at 7:50. All three of the Americans are inside the top twenty players on the Fedex Cup season points list and this week’s winner could easily come from this group.

The European Tour moves on to Austria this week for the Lyoness Open. Now in its fourteenth year, the tournament is the last on the schedule before the U.S. Open and Joost Luiten is returning to defend his title and prepare for his attack on Pinehurst No.2.

The Dutchman has been in great form of late and is back to defend a title for the first time on the European Tour after defeating Thomas Bjorn by two shots this time last year.

Well that’s all for today, join us tomorrow for more GW News.
