Published Add your comment

Today's headlines from the world of American sport.

We start off in baseball, where Nelson Cruz cemented himself as the league’s top home run hitter.

The Baltimore Orioles outfielder crushed a three run shot against the Rangers last night to claim his 21st homer of the season, the best in the league.

Over to basketball where Tony Parker is doing his utmost to be fit for Game 1 of the NBA finals.

The San Antonio Spurs guard is suffering from an ankle injury but hopes to play tomorrow against the Miami Heat.

And finally to the NFL, where the Cleveland Browns had an unwelcome visitor at their practice yesterday.

A man from New Mexico got into the teams facilities and onto the practice field wanting a tryout before finally being noticed and kicked out. Better luck next time fella.
