WWE: The Undertaker likely to retire from wrestling

Published Add your comment

It's looking increasingly more and more likely the The Undertaker has seen the last WrestleMania of his career. The Deadman will probably never get the chance to avenge his defeat at the hands of Brock Lesnar following the injuries he suffered in this year's contest.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Taker is telling people during the last week or two that “it wasn’t looking good” for him to make a come back.

Taker is back in the gym working out after suffering a concussion in the match against Lesnar which saw him spend at least a night in hospital, which all come on top of various other niggling injuries that have built up over the course of his long career.

It was previously noted that Vince McMahon decided on Undertaker losing the 21 year streak at Mania because he believed Taker didn’t physically have another match left in him. And it seems that Vince may very well have been correct.

He is 49 now and Father Time finally seems to be catching up with him. It will be a sad moment when Taker does finally decide to call it a day.
