Kobe Bryant is a bit of an arse. This is news to pretty much nobody, unless you've only just discovered basketball.
The LA Lakers star may have won 5 championships, MVP awards, multiple All-Star appearances and scoring titles etc but he is still the absolute teammate from hell. Just ask Shaq.
Well today that status as the biggest pain in the NBA was confirmed by former Laker Smush Parker, who was talking to Dan LeBatard and Bomani Jones on ESPN’s Highly Questionable. According to Parker, he wasn’t even allowed to talk to Kobe, his teammate.
"He told me one day at practice," Parker started. "I tried to talk to him outside of basketball, about football. And he looked at me in practice and was dead serious and said, ‘You can’t talk to me. You need more accolades under your belt before you come talk to me."
Throughout his whole career we’ve heard stories about Kobe being rude and condescending to teammates. It happens both on and off the court, where will to win has to stop and just being a decent human being should take over.
But not with Bryant where at the Lakers he seems to get a free pass to be the worst teammate in the history of the NBA.
