The first official gameplay trailer for the much anticipated Madden NFL 15 has been released by EA today with Carolina Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly handed the starring role.

Coming off the back of screenshots showing San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick in tattooed glory the ad, which runs for around one minute, includes the first glimpses at what gamers can expect when they finally get their hands on the game August 26.

Watching Kuechly make a move for Super Bowl champ Marshawn Lynch it looks as if you could be in the front row at CenturyLink Field.

The people behind the game have ensured fans that it's not just the looks that will impress, with improved defensive gameplay, intuitive tackle controls and an overhaul of zone and man-to-man defense.

It is safe to say we can't wait.
