According to the Metro Bayern Munich winger Julian Green is a current player of interest for Tottenham.
New boss Mauricio Pochettino has mentioned a lot of potential players for the club but the 18-year-old has found himself in the forefront of plans at the North-London club.
Pochettino is apparently pushing the German side to sell the mid-fielder for £5 million.
This could be a potential investment for Spurs as the youngster has scored 15 goals in 23 appearances for Bayern’s reserve team, even though he is yet to feature in the Bundesliga.
Green has however made it into the United States 23-man squad for this summers 2014 World Cup showing that many view him as an exciting talent.
It has been reported that Pochettino has been keeping tabs on Green for sometime now after watching the teenager at youth level during his time managing Southampton.
Clint Dempsey, captain of the United States national team has praised the starlet recently:
“He has good feet, he has good decision-making.
I think that by playing with a club like Bayern Munich, you get great coaching, and you can see that he’s a kid that has a bright future and we’re happy to have him.”
If Spurs were to place an offer it would be a very tempting proposition for the winger who could be looking at potentially securing first team football next season.
