We begin in the NBA where an air-conditioning malfunction had a huge impact on Game One of the 2014 Finals last night.

The San Antonio Spurs won out 110-95 against the Miami Heat with temperatures on-court at the AT&T Center hitting 90 degrees Fahrenheit.

Such extreme conditions saw the Heat’s star man LeBron James forced out of the game in the crucial fourth quarter complaining of cramp and exhaustion.

Meanwhile in baseball the first round of the MLB draft took place last night in New Jersey.

72 players were taken overall on day one with the Houston Astros selecting left-handed pitcher Brady Aiken with the first overall pick.

And finally, Draft news is also making headlines in the NFL with a move away from New York City next year looking possible.
