England goalkeeper Jack Butland could return to Leeds United for a second loan spell, according to the Daily Express.
Butland has failed to break into the first team at Stoke following his £3.5 million move from Birmingham.
Asmir Begovic has successfully kept Butland out of the side following a season of good performances.
Despite speculation the Bosnian is not looking for a move away from the Britannia.
The English keeper will have to play on loan if he wants to play regular football and be part of Roy Hodgsons thinking after the World Cup.
He will now look to improve on his 16 performances for the Yorkshire club next season.
This looks to signal the end of Paddy Kenny's tenure at the club having fallen out of favour with former manger Brian Mcdermott.
At 36 it is unlikely that the former Republic of Ireland International will want to play a supporting in his career and will look for a new challenge elsewhere.
If Kenny believes the club it will be the clubs second goalkeeping departure this season releasing Jamie Ashdown.
