Floyd Mayweather would lose to Miguel Cotto if they fought again, that is at least according to Cotto's trainer Freddie Roach.

It has been two years since the boxing superstars faced off in the ring May 5, 2012. In a huge battle that tested both boxers to the brink, Mayweather edged the fight on points after a gruelling contest by a unanimous decision in the end.

Roach suggests that Mayweather is past his prime and he insists that the pound for pound king has lost his legs.

When asked whether this version of Cotto would beat Mayweather in a rematch, Roach replied, "He'd knock Mayweather out."

Cotto comfortably defeated Sergio Martinez Saturday night in an impressive performance, and although Roach doesn't know when Cotto would come back down a weight division, he does believe when the time's right he will destroy Mayweather in a possible rematch.

Long time promoter and CEO of Top Rank, Bob Arum, also agrees that given another opportunity to fight Cotto, Mayweather would indeed fall by the wayside.
