Miami Heat Guard Dwyane Wade has been fined $5,000 by the NBA for his flop against the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday night.

Game two of the 2014 NBA Finals brought with it a few moments of embarrassment, from the PA announcer claiming it to be game two of the 20,014 NBA finals to the Spurs crumbling on home court.

Wade had perhaps the most embarrassing though after he held the ball high, Spurs Guard Manu Ginobili made an attempt to knock the ball out of his grasp.

Wade reacted like he had been slapped in the face by the Argentine and even more embarrassingly, the officials awarded the penalty on Ginobili.

It was yet another display of poor NBA officiating as the video replays have revealed Ginobili never came close to making contact with Wade's face.

For the soccer fans of the world, the incident may remind you of the time Brazilian legend Rivaldo pretended to be hit in the face when in fact contact was not even close to his face.

On that day at the 2002 FIFA World Cup, a Turkey player was sent off whereas yesterday Ginobili received a penalty against him.

Hopefully the fine will make Wade think twice before it happens again.
