Romelu Lukaku has made it clear that if Chelsea won't play him next season then they should sell him. Lukaku has been in good form this season at Everton and believes he has earned a spot which can be debated.
Lukaku enjoys talking as much as he scores and recently he has been talking a lot about his future and Chelsea - fans myself included - are getting sick and tired of hearing him moan about his situation at Stamford Bridge.
There is no doubt he is an exceptional player with a bright future but he is acting like he has made it and deserve's all the perks - too many young players think like this these days. When Lukaku arrived at Chelsea he said it was a dream come true but he's ready to turn his back on that dream already.
He's willing to sacrifice his dream because he doesn't play, but he's still only 21 years of age. Chelsea have been very patient and given him the chance to get Premier League experience over the last two seasons and Lukaku hasn't given them any gratitude. They could have left him in the reserve team and he would of got nothing from his time.
The disrespect he has shown Mourinho is unjustified. Mourinho is a world class manager - maybe the best one around - and he obviously knows more about the game than Lukaku and he's worked with the biggest players in football. He knows how to deal with players including possibly the largest one, Cristiano Ronaldo.
So it seems to me that he thinks he's at that level and deserves everything to be handed to him on a silver platter. If he was as determined as when he first joined he would of got his head down and tried scoring 30 goals a season and Mourinho might be more impressed with him.
Manchester City have four world class strikers and their tactic has one player up front and the others accept it and don't complain they work hard in training and wait for their chance.
Lukaku needs to get out of this mindset of "want want want" and work hard and not think himself bigger then the club. Mourinho will happily sell him if he keeps acting immature and he will be the one to suffer by leaving his dream behind because he wasn't patient.
