The Daily Mail has reported that West Ham target, Sadio Mane, will be available for £10 million.

After scoring 17 goals for his current side, Red Bull Salzburg, in the Austrian League this season, Mane has become hot property in Europe and has also attracted interest from Newcastle and Manchester City.

The article reports that West Ham are believed to have made a bid of £5.2 million plus add ons, however, Salzburg are said to be holding out for around double that figure.

Mane is a very exciting player who first came to prominence during the 2012 Olympics when he sparkled with some fine performances as Senegal reached the quarter finals of the games' prestigious contest.

The Senegalese no.10 is a very raw talent who has an aggressive and direct style that aims to put defenders on the back foot with his electric pace and clever trickery.

Mane has scored 29 goals in 54 games since his £3.52 million move from French Ligue 2 side Metz and as well as West Ham, some of the biggest clubs in Europe such as Tottenham and Borussia Dortmund, have also expressed an interested in the youngster.

At the age of just 22, he is far from the finished the product and any transfer away from Austria is likely to have its complications.

Mane is, however, a genuine attacking threat with a hunger for the game that reflects his passionate and ferocious style.

Sam Allardyce has come under criticism in recent months for his lack of attacking football and the Upton Park faithful have become frustrated with a lack of flair and a predictability to Allardyce's style.

Signing Mane would be a statement of intent from Allardyce as he looks to bring in talent that will excite the fans and provide a strong base from which to build a more attacking side.
