Transfer Window: 10 perfect summer signings (2)

Loic Remy to Arsenal

Arsenal need a striker, and Loic Remy is a very good one.

The Frenchman isn't held in particularly high regard on these shores, but six goals in 14 games for QPR and then 14 goals in 26 games for Newcastle suggest he is more than capable when it matters.

Part of France's World Cup squad this summer, Remy first made headlines with Nice and earned himself a move to Marseille in Ligue 1. He took a big-money offer at Loftus Road in January 2013, and then ended up at St. James' Park on loan last term.

Available for transfer this summer despite the Hoops' return to the top flight, his arrival at the Emirates Stadium would provide a significant improvement to Arsene Wenger's attacking options.
