Rapper Jay Z is a masterful businessman, involving himself in the likes of the Brooklyn Nets, RocWear clothing and of course his RocNation record label. 'Hova' has made a fortune, becoming the third richest rapper worth $520million.
Nonetheless, that hasn't stopped the Watch The Throne artist to become involved within MMA. On his 'Life+Times' Youtube channel, the rapper has launched an MMA series called STATIC after teaming up with former UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva to produce the show
Boxer Roy Jones Jnr is the narrator on the videos, who has been closely linked to boxing fights with Silva and former Strikeforce Welterweight Champion Nick Diaz.
Ironically, both Silva and Diaz appear in the first two episodes. In episode one, 'Static' looks at the rivarly between Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen for the best part of three years. In episode two, it then focuses on Nick Diaz vs Jason Miller.
Two more episodes are to air, looking at rivalries between Ronda Rousey and Meisha Tate with Dominick Cruz vs Urijah Faber being the fourth instalment.
