WWE have released a further four superstars on June 12th bringing the grand total to ten. Many believe the releases are due to WWE clearing out ready fro NXT superstars to make their debuts.
The other four superstars are:
Drew Macintyre and Jindar Mahal
Sadly this means no more 3MB, one of the biggest shocks of the day since the two only appeared on Smackdown and Raw this week and have been consistent comedy wrestlers for the last few years and this year alone have been part of the feud between El Torito and Hornswoggle which saw the first WeeLC match and a mask v hair match between the two.
The only remaining member is Heath Slater who lately has shown that he can be a solo competitor, but Drew was one of WWE's prospects when he joined the company a few years ago, he was a Scottish superstar and had the backing of the British public, but it seems this wasn't enough since he was put into the stable with Slater and Mahal and the rest how they say, is history.
Remember JTG and Shad? Cryme Time? One of the most fun tag teams back in the day, they acted like stereotypical guys in Brooklyn and the characters just matched them so well, until WWE decided to break them up and big Shad Gaspard got the better of the exchanges but was released in 2010. JTG got the better of the contract as he hasn't been seen on WWE Tv for years but was only recently released.
The only diva on the list to be released and after her attack from Alicia Fox on Raw and their subsequent match on Smackdown you would have believed a feud was building but now it seems otherwise.
Aksana started back in NXT with divas such as Kaitlyn, AJ Lee and Naomi before they were all transferred onto the WWE roster and Aksana dyed her hair black. She herself has never been pushed like most of the divas, maybe because of her accent or just because WWE have no idea how to properly handle their divas division. It also seems Aksana was the one who injured Naomi a few months ago and forced her to miss her divas title shot. The divas would do well to head over to WWE or ROH where she could be properly used.
There are many NXT superstars set to debut on the WWE roster soon including tag team champions The Assension and superstars such as Sami Zayn and Adrian Neville.
