After months of waiting, worrying and endless speculation, the 2014 FIFA World Cup has finally arrived - and in some style too.
While some had feared a typically cagey and timid opening to the group stages, so far we have been treated to a number of extremely exciting clashes and goalscoring displays from a collection of world football's biggest stars.
In celebration of the tournament being underway, we thought we would take a closer look at the number of big teams involved at this summer's showpiece.
More specifically, using information compiled by specialist insurance market Lloyds of London, we plan to list - in descending order - the average value of each of the 32 squads competing at the tournament this time around.
To further clarify, we are using the numbers of the average value of the players in each squad to determine who indeed has the most lucrative collection of players.
Without further ado, click the 'view slideshow' tab to get going and see which country's squad features the highest value of football talent.
