For the last few years WWE video games have featured a marquee name which is included for individuals who pre-order the game before release.
In the last few editions of the WWE video games we have seen the likes of The Rock, Mike Tyson and even The Ultimate Warrior included as pre-order bonuses, as a way for fans to succumb under the pressure and purchase the newest game.
But if you are in two minds about getting WWE 2K15 then don’t make your mind up just yet; as this game could set to be one of the greatest WWE video games of all time.
In WWE 2K15 the pre-order bonus character is set to be none other than Sting. Sting has been rumoured to sign with WWE on multiple occasions but this year looks likelier than ever. A Sting DVD is also in the works and the company will want to use Sting for the promotion of the game and the DVD.
WWE 2K15 could be a massive hit as it will be the first next-gen WWE video game; and with the latest updated now released, fans have more reasons to be excited for October.
Right now the updated roster includes John Cena, Hulk Hogan, Cesaro, Roman Reigns, Naomi, Cameron, AJ Lee, Daniel Bryan and Bray Wyatt; and a lot more are to be added as around 90% of the roster has already been scanned in.
This will be the most realistic WWE game to date, 2K Sports have already said that they will provide a more polished game, ever since taking over from THQ and now Visual Concepts have full control over the game.
They also added that the WWE actually send a member of the ring crew to make sure everything is realistic when motion captures are being filmed; this is to avoid any unnatural emotions so you can see the effort being put into these features.
The game will feature five times the animations of any previous WWE games so this means this edition will be a lot more fluid and the superstars and divas will look a lot more realistic including their movements and facial expressions.
The actual theme of the game hasn’t been released yet, but another 30 Years of WrestleMania mode is expected to be included once more, whilst the most favourable addition amongst fans is that they include an NXT roster.
With a new ‘MyCareer’ type of career mode, NXT seems like a realistic possibility.
Along with new commentary and a less arcade-type feel of a game, WWE 2K15 could be the perfect game for Sting to make his debut in.
