World Cup chances for England down to support of fans

With England getting ready for the big occasion to unleash themselves against Uruguay, the excitement is frenetically burgeoning. Loads of hopes resting on the teams' shoulders and hence the question is whether they can rise in Brazil. Performances, form, tactics, it'd all matter but there exists one more thing that I have always considered important in a team's success, the thing is "Support and belief" that the fans show in their team. History shows, the ones that had had the fans behind them have always emerged victorious and England are no exception.

England gasconade of some of the best talents in the world namely Lampard, Gerrard, Rooney, Sturridge, Sterling, Wilshere, Johnson and the dossier goes on but it seems that a majority of the English people have developed a penchant for crucifying every other English player's presence in the team.

The morceaus of the 3 Lions' criticism are being sung by loads of the English people (while some are singing their hearts out in support) and their belief in the team seems to be amounting to nil, which, mind, you is never a positive sign for any team looking to write a legacy.

To be honest, this girding of Gerrard's men lately won't help at all rather it'd only disenchant them and discourage them. Every time I look at Roy Hodgson and the other boys, I feel bad, the reason being their dedication towards the team the result of which has only been hate speeches by the English people and their love for the fans (who aren't even trusting them).

I'm sorry to say but it sends the message that there are no people such as fans. These are just a bunch of ordinary humans trussed along who support when the team wins and loathe when it loses and thats all. THE END.

But is it the right thing to do?

If we love England when they win, isn't it our "duty" to show the same amount of faith and belief in them when they have had relatively bad times? I won't answer the question, the answer will only be found when some of those people gifting opprobrium to the team will realise what they have been doing.

I as an England fan since I was a tiny tot, have shown exceedingly huge amount of faith in the boys and have supported them out of my heart no matter how testing the times have been. My message would have been clear by now, the time has come when we stop the "the reproofing" acts and start redounding towards England's success with "support and faith".

If we fans won't get behind the lads, then who will? Is this really the time for deriding the team? No is the obvious answer.

We have got one of the world's best talents and we can do it is what we need to be saying to ourselves and at the same time, motivating the team too. Rather than impetuously writing the team off, a bit of trust is what we need.

If our team is ready to give the nation everything they have (as Gerrard said), we are obliged to give the team what we have as well (which is our support) and be proud, as the lads are too, of England (the team and the nation).

Time to get behind them no matter what happens. This is when the English Lions will do wonders....
