The Cleveland Browns wrapped up their final mini-camp on Friday and ahead of the next stage of their off-season preparations, there has been some bad news for Johnny Manziel.
Johnny Football, the superstar Quarterback from Texas A&M who the Browns drafted 22nd overall in this years Draft has been the source of a lot of media coverage already.
However it has now been revealed that Brian Hoyer will be the Browns starting Quarterback when the teams goes to training camp.
Speaking about his newest star, Browns head coach Mike Pettine claimed that Hoyer has a lead over Manziel but it is not insurmountable.
Another man who will be important for the Browns next year, Defensive End Paul Kruger has also weighed in on the Manziel - Hoyer race for the starters spot.
Kruger is in support of Hoyer starting next season as the Browns first choice Quarterback over the rookie Manziel who even his coach has claimed to be slower on the release than Hoyer.
With a month to go until Cleveland begin their training camp, It still remains unclear who will lead Cleveland's offense on that first snap of week one against the Steelers in Pittsburgh.
