The Stanley Cup has gone to Los Angeles, the NBA Championship to San Antonio, both the NHL and the NBA are now officially in their off-season and we have been treated to some great stories over the last season.

Miami Heat fans saw their favourite son LeBron James have a career night where he scored 61 points against the Charlotte Bobcats.

Henrik Lundqvist of the New York Rangers became the 29th goaltender ever to reach 300 career wins while also overtaking Mike Richter for the most wins in franchise history.

Kevin Durant beat out LeBron James to be named the NBA's MVP for the season after he put in a terrific year for the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Justin Williams of the LA Kings was awarded the MVP award for the Stanley Cup finals after an impressive showing in the final series.

It has been a fantastic year, we have seen extreme highs and horrific lows so heres a look through five stories that shook, entertained and touched the sports world.
