Strawberries and cream, hot summers' days, Pimms and white kits; those are the best things we associated with the English summertime and Wimbledon in particular. 

However an uglier, much louder side to the game can also really grind the gears of spectators. Because, as they are ordered to remain silent, certain players are too busy being seemingly hell-bent on deafening a whole stadium. 

URGGHHHHH, ARHHHHHH; we hear it all the time from some stars during long rallies, but a handful seem to take it far too far. 

While armchair fans need only reach for the mute button, fans on-court are trapped. 

Maybe they should hand-out ear-plugs at Wimbledon this year, much like they do at Silverstone for the Grand Prix.
