Hello and welcome to the GiveMeSport – Social Report. Where we have a look at the weekend’s social media best bits!

We’re in full swing of the World Cup! And to get a feel what the atmosphere is like in Brazil, FIFA launched their Instagram account just in time for the competition with some great pictures to get fans engaged with the content.

There has already been some dubious decisions in this World Cup. But with Goal Line Technology now in place France were correctly awarded a goal against Honduras on Sunday night. And some quick thinking from Adidas and their Brazuca Twitter account let everyone know the ball was clearly over the line!

The World Cup is all about the fans, and ITV have capitalised on this by getting fans to tweet their ‘Goal Face’ by using the hashtag #GoalFace and sending it to @itvfootball. Have a look at some of these.

That's all for this week, send us in your social media best bits and we’ll pick the best ones for next’s weeks show.
