The World Cup always acts the the ultimate shop window for players hoping to secure a notable move following the conclusion of the tournament, and this edition of FIFA’s showpiece will be no different.

But what perhaps makes the 2014 World Cup more unique is the number of quality forwards who could be playing for a move during their time in Brazil. Several of Europe’s elite strikers will likely be available for transfer from next month, and every one of their actions for their respective countries will be scrutinised.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Inter Milan, Manchester United and Liverpool are all in the market for goalscoring reinforcements, and their respective scouts will be interested spectators this summer as the world’s great and good go toe to toe.
