The penultimate episode of Raw before Money in the Bank was as hard hitting as ever, as Roman Reigns defied the Authority and will now be fighting for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Money in the Bank.
The former powerhouse of The Shield seems hell bent on destroying The Authority and even went as far as spiking their drinks which left Stephanie in such a mess that Triple H had to take her to see a doctor and leave Raw in the incapable hands of Vickie Guerrero.
Roman was clever enough to sweet talk Vickie into giving him what he wanted and once he was put into the Battle Royale that The Authority had excluded him from he destroyed his competition, last eliminating Rusev to take his place in next Sunday's ladder match.
His team mate Dean was also excluded from the match but after he lost his qualifying match to Bray Wyatt last week on Smackdown, the lunatic fringe didn't seem bothered about the title he went straight after Seth Rollins in his match against Dolph Ziggler, giving Seth the win via DQ.
Seth then returned the favour after his match with Bad New Barrett as the two fought in the ring but Seth escaped through the crowd before he came out to attack John Cena again at the end of Raw and Dean made the save on behalf of his new found friend.
It still hasn't been announced that these two will clash at Money in the Bank next week, but WWE could be saving all of the announcements for next week since there has only been two official matches made so far. The Tag Team Championship match and the Ladder match for the title.
Talking of the tag team titles, The Usos and Erick Rowan and Luke Harper collided again on Raw as they tried to build momentum for their clash, The Usos made the save after Sheamus was made the subject of a 3-on-1 assault and took Rowan and Harper out when they ran up an ladder and jumped on them on the outside of the ring.
Elsewhere, John Cena predictably secured the final spot in the Money in the Bank ladder match after defeating Kane in the stretcher match Daniel Bryan should have been a part of and Cody Rhodes unveiled himself as Stardust, Goldust's new tag team partner, and got the win over RybAxel in record time.
Money in the Bank is now less than two weeks away and still there is no news of the second ladder match that has been rumoured and a possible return of Brock Lesnar. It seems WWE are playing their cards close to their chest and all will be revealed next week on the final Raw before the big event next Sunday.
