World No. 1 Rafael Nadal has been relaxing ahead of the Wimbledon Championships next week.
The Spaniard has gone to Mallorca in a bid to get himself ready for the grass court tournament. He was pictured on board an exclusive yacht joined by his uncle and retired footballer Miguel Angel Nadal.
He will be hoping to better his attempts in the tournament compared to last year, which saw him exit the competition in the first round. Nadal could have been forgiven for attributing the defeat to his persistent knee injury, but he refused to do so, claiming their was no excuse.
The 28-year-old will enter the tournament matching Grand Slam legend Pete Sampras' Grand Slam singles titles after winning the French Open. However, he is still sitting in second place behind Roger Federer, who holds a record of 17.
Nadal isn't the only player who seems to have gone abroad to prepare for the tournament as Novak Djokovic jetted off to Ibiza for a friend's stag do.
This comes after it was reported that his wedding to Jelena Ristic has been postponed until after Wimbledon so that he can he dedicate his full attention to the competition.
