Mexican goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa has attracted attention from Premier league giants Liverpool and Arsenal, following an immortal display against Brazil in their Group A World Cup match. The veteran is currently a free agent, having been released by Ajaccio in the summer.

Ochoa kept out all eight of Brazil’s shots on target. Headers from close range, one on one shots; nothing deterred him and the intrepid goalkeeper was the undisputed man of the match.

Barcelona and the aforementioned clubs were earlier believed to be considering bringing the shot-stopper to Camp Nou. Looking for an adept replacement for Victor Valdes and competition for the precocious Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, Barcelona will certainly think of signing the Mexican, who outshone himself yesterday.

Such was the impact of the goalkeeper, that the social networks were abuzz with praise for the stalwart keeper. Twitter was bombarded with tweets on Ochoa’s performance and now Arsenal and Liverpool fans are demanding his signature.
