Last season could hardly have ended better for Arsenal, who clinched a top-four finish in the Premier League and, most importantly, won their first trophy since 2005. The wait had felt like an eternity, but the Gunners faithful will always remember that unforgettable afternoon at Wembley last month.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger - who will stay at the Emirates Stadium for the next three years - now has some success to build on. This is his opportunity to help the club grow and get back to the same level that we at a decade ago.

But, in order for this to happen, the French coach will need to showcase his ruthless streak. There are some players in the squad who have either outstayed their welcome, aged, or simply aren’t up to the job.

Wenger has the utmost faith in all of his players, but there comes a moment when he must do what’s right for the team. Five players feature on this list who we believe should be moved on this summer for the benefit of Arsenal Football Club.
