Top five ideal franchises for Kevin Love (3)

2. New York Knicks

New York Knicks would be another great move for Love, as the centre has been linked with Derek Fisher's team for the last few weeks.

Fisher is the new head coach of the Knicks since Mike Woodson lost his job after two years as head coach due to failing to make the Eastern Conference play-offs, considering the scoring ability of Carmelo Anthony.

But there is the issue of whether Love is good enough to replace Tyson Chandler, the fact that Kevin Love could play as a power forward as well makes it still possible for both players to feature alongside each other.

But Chandler missed a big chunk of the start of last season due to a right fibula fracture, and once Chandler cannot play they have no ideal replacement.

Amar'e Stoudemire is another centre at the Knicks, but again with Love in the team you could see the California born centre push his way into the starting team.

If Love was to join New York next season he would definitely have an influence in helping the Knicks reach the play-offs, and if they can keep Carmelo Anthony then they'll definitely be a contender for a Finals place.
