Top five ideal franchises for Kevin Love (6)

Published Add your comment

5. Houston Rockets

The final club in contention for Kevin Love is another franchise based in Texas, and that is Kevin McHale's Houston Rockets.

Having finished fourth in the Western Conference and second in the Southwest division, a good run in the play-offs was looking favourable.

However Houston lost in the first round to the Portland Trail Blazers 4-2.

Houston will be looking to make the play-offs once more for the upcoming season, and with James Harden, Chandler Parsons and Jeremy Lin all playing alongside Kevin Love, it would make the Rockets a stronger force for the future.

However, the Rockets current center is Dwight Howard, who is an eight time NBA All-Star and unless Love chooses to play in his power forward role, it would be difficult to push aside the 28-year-old.

Their last NBA Championship was 1995 and after an impressive season up until the play-offs, they'll want to improve on their success as Love could be a key source in their future accomplishments.

Love has a big decision to make overall, as he wants success but how quickly does he want to win?

With the offers reportedly on the table, Love wants to leave Minnesota and he has the option of building up with a weaker side or heading straight into the play-offs with a team who are a already favourable powerhouse.
